SUNIH

BIO

Sunih Reed started singing when he was four years of age. His mother Ella Mae Reed
put him in a youth choir at St. Paul Holiness church of Rochester N, Y. When Sunih
reached the third grade at 9 years of age he wrote his very first R&B song with a former
best friend Sheldon gross entitled Kiss, And Hug. By the time Sunih reached his ninth
grade year at East High School of Rochester N, Y he suddenly lost his interest in music
and gained an interest for the streets. He then was headed for the wrong direction
until his God Brother Jerry (Jay-L) Latimer set his mind back towards music. Marquis
then joined a choir called Disciples For Christ out of Rochester N, Y. When Sunih
entered his tenth grade year him and a friend named Kourtney Miller entered the
high school talent show. Sunih was a bit nervous it was his first time actually
performing in front of so many people. The dual sung Sweet Lady by the famous Tyrese
a popular song at that time. The two were disqualified for jumping off the stage and
taking off there shirts. After Sunih left high school him and his God Brother Jay-L
decided to start a group called Dominion. The name stuck with the two through several members that joined until Sunih decided that the name needed to be change. Sunih immediately searched on the internet and found Unir in the French language that means To Unite. They both then added the newest triple threat named Anthony (Niko) Brown to the group an amazing singer like themselves out of Rochester N, Y. A few months into doing shows and rehearsals Jay-L decided that he wanted to go solo and left the group to a dual.

Although Sunih and Niko did very well with there own hit single entitled Are U Ready. It got the two a trip to Louisville K, Y, and also a contract with Elite Records. The contract was sadly voided. The dual then split up afterwards, Sunih then decided to go solo. He is currently working on his album that will be coming soon entitled True Story. Sunih and his manager split up do to the fact that his contract was up. Sunih is currently pursuing is own music under Sunih Entertainment. Sunih has opened for Ralph Tresvant and Lee Carr.
